<p>Welcome to &#8220;The Benefits of Ginger&#8221; with Manjula Paul B.A.M.S., owner of Utrecht Ayurveda. In this video, discover the incredible advantages of ginger. It&#8217;s the perfect remedy to brighten those gloomy winter days in The Netherlands. Ginger tea, made from just one inch of sliced fresh ginger steeped in hot water, is a popular and healthy beverage. It&#8217;s a superior choice compared to many other hot drinks. If you find the taste too strong, try soaking the ginger overnight in room temperature water for a milder flavor.</p>



<p>According to Ayurveda, ginger is known as Vishwabheshaja, meaning universal medicine. It&#8217;s especially effective for Vata and Kapha imbalances, including issues like abdominal pain, gastrointestinal troubles, and menstrual cramping.</p>



<p>Ginger offers various benefits such as aiding digestion (agni), relieving coughs and colds, and reducing inflammation. You can consume it raw before a meal or mix it with honey for a sore throat.
